Tragic Mountain Update 6/01/2007

Tragic News Update 6/01/2007

Tragic Mountain would like to take this opportunity to announce a new "water themed" area to the park layout. Unlike other parks (see link) Tragic Mountain would like to maintain a technological lead on our competitors. This has led us to develop a new technology which enables us to send potential riders down a molten volcano lava flow! That's right, no water for us!

Imagine braving the firey depths of Melty Mountain (final say on name pending), as you and your friends embark in a fun filled adventure through the inner workings of a volcano. Have a friend who is afraid of having the flesh melted off of him, no problem. Melty Mountain will feature a patented technology which will enable Tragic Mountain guests to feel the heat without the hazard.

Tragic News Update 9/15/2005

Tragic News Update 9/15/2005

Six Flags has recently announced that it is up on the bloody corporate butchers block. Insane buyers looking to buy a theme park will inherit nearly 2 billion dollars in debt. Exciting! It has also been announced that Six Flags Over Houston will be closed and sold off by the end of the 2005 operating season. Finally, due to Hurricane Katrina, Six Flags Lousiana has suffered massive damage. Reports are coming in that the coasters still stand at the park but that everything else has been vaporized. (Note to self: do not build park near a hurricane prone area but hire the builders of these "hurricane proof" coasters.) Rumors are floating around that the park will not ever see the light of day again.

Tragic Mountain mourns the loss of Six Flags over Lousiana. Though a competitor, it is of course sad when any theme park bites the dusk. Tragic Mountain extends our condolences to those who have suffered in this tragedy.

A Moment With Tragic Mountain's CEO

Greetings and Salutations-

Being a Southern California native, one might say that I was born into the cradle of themeparks. Nestled amongst the temperate weather, blue skies, and large cities, lie some of the worlds greatest themeparks. Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Sea World, and Six Flags have long entertained guests with their various offerings. Whether it be the wild west, or a g-force filled ride aboard a mega coaster, there is no other place nor state which contains such a diverse assortment. These parks have long stirred my imagination, and have inspired me to persue my dream. I am going to build a themepark!
